Hyderabad, April 28 (Maxim News): There is a big twist in the matter of Bathukamma Kunta in Amberpet. The Supreme Court has ordered the removal of signs stating that Bathukamma Kunta is under the control of Hydra. The name boards of Bathukamma Kunta were removed on the orders of the court. In the past, Hydra had identified Bathukamma Kunta as government land and developed it. It has also made many arrangements including a children’s park and an open air gym. It was inaugurated by CM Revanth Reddy and dedicated to the people. However, the Kunta dispute regarding a total of 7 acres is going on in the court.
A person named Edla Sudhakar is claiming that the pond is his. He complained that Bathukamma Pond was developed while the matter was pending in the court. The High Court gave 3 weeks to remove the name Hydra in this process. Hydra approached the Supreme Court on the High Court’s orders. The Supreme Court ordered that the High Court’s orders be followed until the hearing is held. Name boards and stone tablets near Bathukamma Pond are being removed on the orders of the Supreme Court.
Meanwhile, people are expressing anger that Hydra is wasting crores of rupees of government money due to PR madness. While the Bathukamma Kunta land dispute is in court, there is widespread criticism over the beautification of the area at a cost of crores of rupees, installation of grills and boards and the grand opening with Revanth Reddy.
