Bihar BJP Chief | Bihar, Oct. 12: Bihar BJP Chief Sanjay Saraogi on Monday criticised Rahul Gandhi’s proposed march to the Supreme Court, calling it a “childish attempt” to pressure the judiciary.
The remarks came after Rahul Gandhi and other INDIA bloc leaders planned to submit a memorandum to Chief Justice of India Surya Kant. However, the CJI declined their request for a meeting.
Saraogi said the Supreme Court was not a platform for political rallies. He urged the Opposition to file a legal petition and present its arguments before the court.
He also criticised alleged stone pelting by protesters targeting security personnel in Delhi. Saraogi described both the alleged violence and the attempt to submit a memorandum directly to the CJI as unacceptable.
Bihar BJP Chief Saraogi Accuses Opposition of Pressuring Election Commission
Saraogi accused the Opposition of creating disorder on the streets and attempting to pressure the Election Commission. He also criticised the reported gathering near Jantar Mantar, alleged barricade breaches and stone pelting at Akashvani Bhawan.

He further referred to Cockroach Janata Party (CJP) spokespersons Saurav Das and Ashutosh Ranka. Saraogi objected to their reported visit to the Parliament Street police station, alleging that they created a disturbance while claiming to maintain peace.
Saraogi said anyone with evidence should present it through the appropriate process. He also argued that the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls involved an extensive process lasting 120 to 150 days.
According to Saraogi, the process involved more than 35 lakh government and political party officials. His remarks came amid the Opposition’s protests over alleged irregularities in the electoral roll revision.
