BRS And BJP Councillors Protest Against The Behaviour Of Municipal Officials
Vemulawada/Hyderabad, April 1 (Maxim News): The Vemulawada Municipal Council held its budget meeting for the financial year 2026-27 on Wednesday. The meeting was chaired by Municipal Chairman Pulkam Raju and attended by Collector Garima Agrawal as the chief guest.
BRS and BJP councillors objected to the meeting being held without at least a week’s notice. They were furious at the officials for holding the meeting without giving time to familiarise themselves with the budget copies. The councillors insisted that this matter be recorded in the minute book. Even though Municipal Commissioner Sampath Kumar had said that he would record it after the meeting, they boycotted the meeting and protested in front of the office.
