Hyderabad, Sept. 28: BRS MLAs, MLCs and party leaders staged a protest outside the Enforcement Directorate (ED) office in Basheerbagh on Monday. They demanded details of the investigation into searches conducted at properties linked to Revenue Minister Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy in September 2024.
The leaders visited the office to submit a representation seeking information about the investigation. Police initially prevented them from entering the premises. However, officials later allowed them to meet ED Deputy Director Swathi and submit their representation.
BRS Seeks Details of ED Searches and Investigation
The BRS sought details of searches conducted on September 27 and 28, 2024, at around 16 locations linked to Ponguleti Srinivas Reddy. The party also requested information about the investigation’s current status.
Its representation sought details of any cash, documents, digital devices, bank accounts and other materials seized during the searches. The party also asked whether the ED had issued notices or summons and filed a prosecution complaint.
