Hyderabad, April 19: Andhra Pradesh Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu will campaign for the NDA in Tamil Nadu with a two day tour starting April 20.
The Telugu Desam Party said the visit aims to energise cadres and strengthen voter outreach ahead of the elections.
NDA Campaign Gains Momentum in Tamil Nadu
Naidu will begin his tour in Coimbatore with a public meeting. He will then visit Hosur and address a rally in Thalli.
Later, he will travel to Chennai and participate in a roadshow in Avadi. On the second day, he will visit Madurai and Sattur for campaign events and interactions with community leaders.
The campaign is part of the National Democratic Alliance strategy to expand its presence in Tamil Nadu. The alliance is focusing on governance, economic growth and development.
Campaigning for the single phase Assembly elections will end on April 21. Voting for all 234 constituencies is scheduled for April 23, while counting will take place on May 4.
The TDP said Naidu is expected to highlight development initiatives and present the NDA vision for the state during his campaign.
