CM Can’t Privatize TSRTC: Ashwathama

Hyderabad, Nov.6 (Maxim News): TSRTC employees’ unions’ JAC convener Ashwadhama Reddy today said there was nothing to worry about the warning of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao that he would privatize the transport corporation. He said the corporation could never be privatized unless the Union government assents the same.

Speaking to mediapersons after meeting BJP State president K.Laxman at the latter’s party headquarters at Nampally along with TJS founder-president M. Kodandaram and MRPS leader Manda Krishna Madiga, the JAC leader sought support of the BJP for their proposed Million March program scheduled to be held at tank bund on November 9.

He said the State government employees had also responded positively to their request to hold pen down strike. He demanded that the State government constitute a statutory committee and hold discussions with them. He also thanked the employees for not responding to the call of the Chief Minister to resume their duties. (Maxim News)
