CM KCR greets people on the Bonalu festival

Hyderabad: Chief Minister K. Chandrashekhar Rao stated that the Bonalu festival is held every year in Telangana during the months of Ashadam and Sravana. He stated that the Telangana government respected the traditions and cultures of all people.

The Chief Minister has extended greetings to the Telangana people on the occasion of the State Festival – Bonalu.

The Bonalu celebrations began today with the presentation of Bonam to Jagadambika Ammavaaru in Golkonda. According to CM KCR, the Bonalu festival reflects Telangana’s distinct culture, diverse way of life, and devotion to Nature and the Environment. He prayed to the Goddess for the health and happiness of everyone in the state.
