Hyderabad, May 30: Telangana Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy will embark on a multi district tour across the state beginning June 1, during which he will inaugurate development projects, lay foundation stones for key infrastructure works, and address public meetings.
According to the schedule released by the government, the Chief Minister will visit Adilabad district on June 1 to launch the second phase of the Indiramma Housing Scheme. He is also scheduled to interact with beneficiaries and address a public gathering during the visit.
The tour forms part of the government’s efforts to review ongoing welfare and infrastructure initiatives while accelerating development projects across Telangana.
Revanth Reddy to Launch Projects in Adilabad and Rangareddy
On June 3, Revanth Reddy will visit Koheda in Rangareddy district, where he will lay the foundation stone for a major integrated market project.
The Telangana government plans to develop the market over 239 acres with modern facilities aimed at strengthening agricultural trade, logistics, and market access for farmers and traders.
Officials said the integrated market is expected to emerge as one of the state’s key agricultural trading hubs once completed.
Later the same day, the Chief Minister will travel to Mahabubnagar district and stay overnight at Somashila.
Irrigation Project Review in Mahabubnagar
On June 4, Revanth Reddy will inspect several major irrigation projects, including the Jurala Project and the Narayanpet Kodangal Lift Irrigation Scheme.
The Chief Minister will also visit the Narlapur, Vattem, and Edu reservoirs. During the visit, he will review the progress of ongoing works and assess pending irrigation projects.
The inspections are expected to focus on improving irrigation infrastructure and ensuring water availability for agriculture across the region.
Women Self Help Groups to Receive RTC Buses
On June 5, Revanth Reddy will participate in a major programme at Secunderabad Parade Ground, where buses will be distributed to women’s self help groups.
A total of 553 buses, procured at an estimated cost of Rs 199 crore, will be handed over under the initiative.
The scheme allows women’s groups to own buses and lease them to Telangana State Road Transport Corporation (TGSRTC), creating income generating opportunities while strengthening public transport services.
Government officials said the programme reflects the state’s commitment to women’s economic empowerment and community based development.
The Chief Minister’s upcoming tour is expected to highlight key government initiatives in housing, agriculture, irrigation, transport, and women empowerment while providing an opportunity to review the implementation of major development projects across Telangana.
