Demo Voting Stations Set Up In All Assembly Segments Under GHMC 

Hyderabad, July 21 (Maxim News): On the instructions of the Chief Electoral Officer, Telangana, the Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) has set up the Demo Voting Stations for the awareness among the voters on the use and functioning of  Voter Verifiable Paper Audit Trial (VVPAT) machines in all the Assembly Constituencies for exercising their right to vote and use of Electronic Voting Machine. 

As part of the arrangement for the upcoming Assembly Elections in Telangana, the Election Commission of India has started this awareness program for the voters on the uses of VVPAT machine and EVM   This awareness program will continue in all the constituencies till the Election Notification is issued.

The district election Officer of Hyderabad and the Constituency level Electoral Officer have been directed to arrange such facilities for the voters to bring awareness on voting.  

the Demo Station Centers have been set up for the Mushirabad, Malakpet, Khairatabad, Jubilee Hills, Nampally, Charminar, Chandrayangutta, Goshamahal, Bahadurpura etc.  Demo stations have been set up. One to each center, an officer-in-charge creates awareness about machines (Maxim News)
