Deposit Rs 5000 Per Acre For All Farmers In State From Dec. 28: CM KCR

Hyderabad, Dec.27 (Maxim News): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao today instructed officials concerned to deposit Rs 5000 per acre for all eligible farmers in the state from December 28.

At a high level review meeting on Ryrhu Bandhu, KCR has directed that about Rs 7515 cr to be disbursed among 61.50 lakh farmers . He stated that Rythu Bandhu help be given directly to farmers’ bank accounts from Dec 28 to January 7 or so.

The Chief Minister has instructed the officials concerned to ensure that each and every farmer in the state should get the assistance under Rythu Bandhu Scheme. The Chief Minister held review meeting discussed strategy on Rythu Bandhu distribution and finalised the action plan accordingly.

He also instructed the officials from the Finance Department to release Rs 7,515 Cr for the purpose. The assistance should begin with farmers who have less holding of lands and to the farmers having large extent of holding and all farmers should get the assistance in about ten days.

Those who present were agriculture Minister S Niranjan Reddy, Chief Secretary Somesh Kumar, Principal Secretary (Finance), Ramakrishna Rao, Principal Secretary (Agriculture), Janardhan Reddy, and others participated. (Maxim News)
