Ramchandra Rao | Hyderabad, Oct 10 (Maxim News): BJP Telangana president N Ramchandra Rao has called on party leaders and the people to refute the Congress’s allegations on the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of voter lists.
He met party leaders, cell conveners, official representatives and media panelists at the BJP state office in Hyderabad on Saturday.
Rao said the Congress’s allegations on the SIR are false and should be countered at the field level. He claimed that the Election Commission has prepared the voter list transparently, in line with Supreme Court guidelines.

The BJP state president rejected the Congress’s allegations over the removal of bogus votes. He accused Congress leaders of attacking constitutional institutions after a string of electoral defeats.

He directed party workers to counter the Congress’s “vote theft” campaign. Rao also asked leaders to take the benefits of democracy to the people, saying the voter list is now clean.
