Speaking on this occasion, the Chief Minister said, the UPA government of that day thought that women should be freed from wood burning stoves.  They gave gas connections to all the poor people of the country for just Rs. 1,500.  The BJP at the center has increased the price of a gas cylinder from Rs. 400 to Rs. 1,200.  To reduce the burden of gas cylinders to the poor, we are giving a cylinder for Rs. 500.  No matter how many false campaigns are done, our government will follow financial control and implement six guarantees, the Chief Minister clarified.

Assembly speaker Gaddam Prasad, Deputy Chief Minister Mallu Bhatti Vikramarka along with ministers and officials participated in the programme.  (Maxim News)
