Hyderabad, May 15 (Maxim News): Telangana Director General of Police C. V. Anand has revealed the fitness routine that helped him maintain stable health and body weight for more than three decades.
Participating in a media conclave on Friday, the DGP stressed the importance of physical fitness for police personnel and said discipline in food habits plays a major role in maintaining long term health.
CV Anand said he has maintained a consistent body weight of around 75 to 76 kilograms for the last 32 years through strict dietary discipline and a regulated lifestyle.
The DGP revealed that he completely avoids four food items in his daily diet, including sugar, salt, rice and maida.
According to him, eliminating these items from regular consumption helped him remain physically fit even at this age.
DGP Urges Police Personnel To Focus On Health
The Telangana DGP said physical fitness is not just important for professional efficiency in policing but is equally necessary for personal well being.
He stated that maintaining proper food habits and following a disciplined lifestyle can help people avoid several long term health complications.
Anand pointed out that police personnel often work under stressful conditions and irregular schedules, making it essential for them to pay greater attention to fitness and mental health.
He advised officers and staff to adopt healthy routines, exercise regularly and stay disciplined in their daily lives.
The senior IPS officer also said better fitness levels improve work performance, increase energy and help individuals lead healthier and longer lives.
