TCS Nashik Case: Eight Arrested Over Harassment Allegations
Adilabad/Hyderabad, Sept 14 (Maxim News) Eight persons were arrested for allegedly duping a court by producing fake sureties for bail using forgery of signatures of government officials here on Saturday. Nine more accused persons were absconding.
Police said that Katipelli Abhilash Reddy, Syed Irfan, Ganti Sattenna, Maddela Ashok, Ramireddy alias Paramesh Reddy, Kokataya Ashok, Shahid and MD Ameer, belonging to different parts of the district were apprehended for their role in the offence. Gadugu Suresh, Ullengula Bhumanna, Borkari Raju, Borkar Srinivas, Saddam, Musheer, Shahil, Khaleem and Janti were still at large.
During interrogations, Abhilash and Irfan confessed to committing the crime by taking assistance from the others. They admitted to forging signatures of Panchayat secretaries and made fake certificates required for a surety. They helped accused persons in getting bail from courts by producing counterfeit sureties. (Maxim News)
