Farmer’s Hunger Strike: Jagga Reddy Extends Support

Hyderabad, Dec.21 (Maxim News): Sangareddy MLA from Congress party T. Jagga Reddy today extended his complete support to the hunger strike held by farmers union of the state.

Speaking on the occasion he made it clear that the congress party had been opposing the three controversial farm laws introduced by the prime minister Narendra Modi led central government. He also said that the Party had extended its complete support to the farmers union hunger strike agitation program.

Reddy alleged that the central government had taken away the freedom of the farmers over their harvest. He said that there was no mention of MSP in the three farm laws and added that the absence of the MSP would cause a lot loss to the farmers. He said that the Modi government was treating the farmers as a instrument which could be used to cultivate crops but not to sell them crops. He said that the three farm laws would be a death row for the farmers of the state and the country.

He alleged that the three agriculture laws were introduced only to benefit corporate companies of the country. He said that the BJP led central government was not revoking the laws even after the opposition of opposition political parties and allies of the BJP. (Maxim News)
