Farmers May Get Good News From Central Budget – 2023-24 

Delhi/Hyderabad, Jan 27 (maxim News):  Union Finance Minister Nirmala Sitharaman will present the annual budget- 2023-24 in Parliament on February 1.  This year’s budget has become special as this is the last full-scale budget presented by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s government in the wake of the general elections – of 2024.  with this, it seems that there is a possibility of raining blessings in this budget as much as it is reported that there may be key announcements in this budget that will benefit farmers in particular. 

As part of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi Yojana, all the farmer families owning land were getting Rs. 6,000 from the Centre.  In this regard, it is informed that the Center will give good news to the farmers who are the beneficiaries of this scheme.  According to the report, there is a possibility to increase the installment amount of the PM Kisan Samman Nidhi scheme provided to farmers in this budget.

So far, under this scheme Rs. 6,000 per year was deposited in the Central Rythu Bank account in 3 installments.  It seems that there is a plan to increase that amount to Rs. 8 thousand.  Thus, the amount given to the farmers will be divided into 4 installments of Rs. 2 thousand each.  Union Minister Nirmala Sitharaman is likely to make a key announcement on the occasion of this budget.
