Vadodara, Sept. 8: Young people, including Gen Z members, gathered in large numbers in Vadodara on Tuesday to welcome Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
Students gathered at several locations to catch a glimpse of Modi during his visit. Many expressed excitement about seeing the Prime Minister in person.
Several students also said they hoped to interact with Modi during his visit. They praised what they described as his focus on youth and economic development.
Students Express Excitement Over PM Modi Visit
One student said there was strong enthusiasm among young people gathered for the Prime Minister. The student praised Modi’s focus on economic growth and his interactions with people across the country.
Another student described Modi’s visit as a special occasion for Vadodara. The student said it was fortunate to have the Prime Minister visit the city after a long gap.
The student also expressed hope that Modi would interact with students and visit their college pavilion. They said they wanted him to continue engaging with Gen Z.
Another student said meeting Modi would be a memorable experience. The student also credited his government with improvements in the education sector.
Modi is scheduled to inaugurate, dedicate and lay foundation stones for development projects worth more than Rs 35,000 crore in Vadodara.
The projects cover several sectors and form a major part of the Prime Minister’s visit to the city.
BJP leaders also welcomed the turnout. BJP MP Hemang Joshi said people from different age groups had gathered for the Prime Minister’s visit.
Joshi described the programme as a major occasion for Vadodara. He said children, youth and women had gathered to welcome Modi.
