Rs. 500 LPG Gas Cylinder | Hyderabad, Feb 27 (Maxim News): The Telangana government headed by the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy has issued the guidelines for availing gas cylinders for Rs. 500 which is a promise given during the election period, is being implemented from today.

As part of the Mahalakshmi Scheme, the Telangana government has issued a notification for the scheme of giving gas cylinders at Rs. 500. Govt. announced three criteria for subsidized gas cylinders. 39.5 lakh beneficiaries have been identified based on the list of those who have applied for the subsidy cylinder

The state government has made the white ration card standard to be eligible for this scheme. Taking into consideration the usage of three years. on the basis of its average cylinders are allotted annually.

Customers have to first pay the entire amount and get the cylinder, after that, the subsidy amount will be credited back to the user’s account. Government will give gas subsidies directly to Oil Manufacturing companies. Cash payments are made from companies to customers through DBT. The government will monitor this scheme under the direction of the District Collector.

In future users will only get at Rs. 500 will be arranged by the government. arrangements have been made to transfer the subsidy amount into the user’s account within 48 hours. (Maxim News)
