Hyderabad, Nov 8 (Maxim News): Former Minister and senior BRS MLA T. Harish Rao held the Chief Minister Revanth Reddy government responsible for the recurring food poisoning cases in residential welfare schools across the State. He accused the government of gross negligence and demanded immediate action to prevent such incidents.

“Despite repeated food poisoning cases, the government’s approach remains unchanged. In less than 24 hours after 12 students from tribal welfare schools at Mancherial were hospitalized, more students were rushed to hospitals with vomiting and stomach pain. This indicates the government’s utter negligence to ensure basic safety for children, he said.
Harish Rao took to X after the reports of more students getting admitted to the hospital went viral on social media and raised concern over the alarming situation in the erstwhile Adilabad district, where a total of 94 students from residential schools at Nirmal, Wankidi, and Mancherial, have been hospitalized, with two losing their lives due to fever.

“Three students from Wankidi Gurukul are still in critical condition at NIMS, yet the government continues to turn a blind eye. He said, adding that the Congress rule has left a stain of inefficiency in the management of government residential welfare educational institutions.
