The first poster of Captain Nawab was trolled for its similarity with the video game, Call Of Duty: Black Ops’s poster. But it seems that co-producers Anthony D’Souza and Emraan Hashmi have put the debacle behind them.
They have been working on the script over the last few months. “The film is about a spy, who lands in the Pakistani army. It’s an action film, but at the core, it’s an anti-war movie.
It falls in the spy thriller genre, but we are trying to make a film that appeals to a wide audience. Since it is Emraan’s first production, he is involved in most aspects, including costing and scripting,” says D’Souza.
