Hyderabad Records Lowest SIR Digitisation Rate In Telangana At 57.25%

Hyderabad, August 4: Hyderabad has recorded the lowest digitisation rate of enumeration forms under the Special Intensive Revision (SIR) of electoral rolls in Telangana, achieving 57.25 per cent, according to the latest report released by Chief Electoral Officer (CEO) C. Sudarshan Reddy on Monday.

Hyderabad Trails Other Districts

The report showed that Medchal-Malkajgiri, which had been behind Hyderabad in digitisation until last week, has now moved ahead by achieving 62.64 per cent digitisation of enumeration forms.

Meanwhile, Yadadri-Bhongir emerged as the best-performing district in the State, recording 94.30 per cent digitisation.

Under the revised Special Intensive Revision (SIR) schedule, August 10 has been fixed as the last date for submitting filled-in enumeration forms across Telangana.

Election officials have urged eligible voters to complete the submission process within the stipulated timeline to facilitate the revision of electoral rolls.

The digitisation exercise is part of the Election Commission’s ongoing efforts to update and verify voter records before the publication of the revised electoral rolls.
