Hyderabad, March 24: Santosh Nagar Flyover construction works will be completed by June, GHMC Commissioner R.V. Karnan said during an inspection.
R.V. Karnan directed engineering officials to speed up the work and meet the deadline without delay.
The Commissioner carried out an unscheduled inspection on Tuesday morning at the Santosh Nagar construction site.
During the visit, he reviewed the progress of the Chanchalguda–Santosh Nagar steel flyover. He also examined the pace of work and the coordination among engineering teams.
Officials briefed him about the current status of the project. He then instructed them to increase the speed of execution. R.V. Karnan clearly stated that June must be treated as the firm completion deadline. He also stressed the importance of timely delivery of infrastructure projects.

During the review, Karnan emphasised the need for close monitoring of the remaining works. He asked officials to ensure there are no unnecessary delays. He also told them to maintain construction quality while accelerating the pace.
The Commissioner also reviewed site management and progress planning. He advised officials to focus on timely execution. At the same time, he asked them to ensure smooth coordination among departments involved in the project.

Charminar Zonal Commissioner Srinivas Reddy accompanied Karnan during the inspection. Other senior GHMC officials also attended the visit. They reviewed the project along with the engineering teams.
The visit highlighted the civic body’s focus on completing the project within the set timeline. The Commissioner reiterated that the June deadline should remain the priority. He also instructed officials to take all necessary steps to meet the target.
The Chanchalguda–Santosh Nagar steel flyover is part of ongoing infrastructure works being executed by GHMC. The inspection reflects continued monitoring by senior officials. The civic body aims to complete the project within the announced timeframe.
