A major Hyderabad theft case created tension in the city after assailants stole Rs 40 lakh from a house in Bhavani Nagar. The incident took place in the early hours of the morning. Police said the case came to light after the victim, Sultan, filed a complaint about the theft. He reported that two men entered his house, threatened him with a knife and took the cash he had.

Hyderabad police said they registered a case soon after the complaint was filed. They also formed special teams to trace the accused. Officers stated that these teams began searches across the city. They added that efforts were underway to track every possible route used by the suspects. Meanwhile, residents in Bhavani Nagar expressed concern after the large theft in a residential area.

Investigators said the Hyderabad theft case required quick action due to the scale of the stolen amount. They noted that Sultan informed them that the two assailants entered the house without warning. He said they threatened him with a knife before taking the Rs 40 lakh. Police said they were verifying the sequence of events. They also checked nearby locations to identify any possible evidence.
