Traffic police personnel across the zone joined the enforcement activity. During inspections, officers removed illegal black films on the spot.

According to official data, Trimulgherry Traffic Division reported the highest number of cases with 400 violations. Malkajgiri Traffic Division followed with 227 cases.

Among police stations, Begumpet Traffic Police Station recorded the highest number with 169 cases.

Trimulgherry registered 143 cases, while Gopalapuram logged 118.

Alwal reported 88 violations. Malkajgiri police station booked 67 cases.

Officials said tinted glass blocks visibility inside vehicles and creates security risks. Moreover, such modifications may help unlawful activities and obstruct surveillance.

Police added that black films also make enforcement difficult during routine checks.

Therefore, motorists have been asked to remove unauthorised films immediately. They must also ensure vehicles meet visibility norms under the law.

Authorities warned that strict legal action will continue against violators. Similar drives will also be held in future to improve road safety and public security.

The crackdown forms part of Hyderabad Traffic Police efforts to strengthen compliance and reduce unsafe vehicle modifications across the city.
