Hyderabad Woman Murder | Hyderabad, Oct 10: Hyderabad Police have taken Mohammed Ibrahim into custody after a 35-year-old woman was killed at a wholesale clothes shop in Azampura, under Chaderghat police station limits in the Old City. The murder has caused a stir in the area.
The victim, Tahera Banu, lived in Chanchalguda. She worked at the Manha wholesale clothes shop next to Sahifa Masjid. According to police, Ibrahim attacked her with a knife.
Police found during inquiry that Ibrahim had earlier worked at the same shop. The two knew each other. Police suspect that differences linked to a relationship may have led to the killing, but they have not confirmed this as the motive. They have begun an inquiry into the causes.

Police said the cause cannot be treated as final until the investigation is complete. They are examining the case from all angles, including the earlier relationship between the two, their conversations, the circumstances that led to the attack and whether any other dispute was involved.
Investigators are also trying to establish what the differences were, whether there was a quarrel before the incident and whether the murder was planned. They are checking whether anyone else was in the shop, whether there were eyewitnesses and whether CCTV footage holds key evidence in the Hyderabad woman murder case.

Chaderghat police reached the spot on receiving information and called in a clues team, which collected evidence. Charminar Zone DCP Kiran Khare visited the scene and reviewed the details of the case.
