Hyderabad, june 29 (Maxim News): Internal infighting in the state Congress seems to have reached its peak. CM Revanth Reddy is getting frustrated because he cannot control the officials, cannot govern, and cannot control the party leaders. Cabinet expansion is becoming a challenge for Revanth Reddy and is causing new headaches. It is learnt that several leaders are putting pressure on the CM.
More importantly, the party leaders are discussing the fact that politics has intensified the pressure of former MLA Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy. It is known that Rajagopal Reddy, along with his followers, had made a show of strength in Delhi by beating the CM at the Nalgonda meeting held the other day and demanding that he be given a ministerial post. Revanth was shocked when Rajagopal met top party leader Rahul Gandhi in Delhi and secured his support. If Rajagopal Reddy bows to pressure, the CM is in tension as there is a chance that the other aspirants will also succumb to pressure.
Uttam Kumar Reddy is demanding that his wife be given a ministerial post if Rajagopal is given a ministerial post. On the other hand, Ibrahimpatnam MLA Malreddy Ranga Reddy has also threatened to resign as an MLA if he is not given a ministerial post, which has become an additional headache for Revanth Reddy. Taking advantage of this, Congress MLAs are blackmailing him for ministerial posts in various quotas.
Among them are mainly Adi Srinivas in the Munnur Kapu quota, Ramulu Nayak and Balu Nayak in the Lambada quota. Lambada leaders have already besieged Gandhi Bhavan and increased pressure to give ministerial posts to Lambadas. Similarly, TPCC Mahesh Goud is demanding a deputy CM or ministerial post in the BC quota. It is learnt from reliable sources that Speaker Gaddam Prasad also met Rahul in Delhi without informing Revanth and made a plea for a ministerial post.
Revanth Reddy is struggling with what to do. It is learnt that Revanth Reddy is complaining to his close friends that his situation has become like a dead end. It is a matter of great concern that the CM is worried about the expansion of the cabinet and is worried about where he will get his seat. (Maxim News)
