Interstate Marijuana Smuggler Arrested: 4 Kg Of Marijuana Being Transported In A Train Seized

Hyderabad, Dec 2 (Maxim News): Secunderabad Railway Police has arrested an inter-state ganja smuggler who was transporting ganja in a train.

Railway Urban DSC Javed and GRP Inspector Sai Eashwar revealed the details to the media.  Sheikh Waheed, a resident of Shantinagar, Lalpeta, works as a bike mechanic locally. He started selling ganja with the hope of making easy money.  In the past, he was caught by the police while selling ganja in Lalapet and Tukaram Gate areas and went to jail.  After being released, he started selling ganja again.

He bought it from Nagpur at a low price and sold it in Hyderabad at a high price.  On the 30th of last month, he went to Nagpur and bought 4,104 kg of ganja from a person.  He boarded the train that night and got down at Secunderabad Railway Station on Monday morning.

While leaving platform-1, he looked suspicious to the GRP and RPF police.  They immediately stopped him and checked his bag and found packets of ganja.  He admitted that he bought ganja, used some for his needs and sold the rest to others.  With this, the ganja was seized and Waheed was arrested, said DSC javed.  (Maxim News)
