Hyderabad, May 16 (Maxim News): Sangareddy MLA from Congress party T. Jayaprakash Reddy on Thursday claimed that the party would win the Sanga Reddy Zilla Parishad seat in the district. He said the Congress party had played an important role in the local body elections and would win more number of ZP seats in the State.
Commenting on the announcement of the election schedule of MPP and ZP chairperson posts, Reddy, while talking to media persons in an informal manner, said that it was unfortunate that the Election Commission had given 40 days time to hold the elections. He said such a huge gap would eventually lead to horse-trading of newly elected ZPTCs and MPTCs in the State.
He also alleged that the TRS leaders were indulging in blackmailing politics. He warned the ruling party leaders of severe action after the Congress returns to power in the State. He said they did not interfere with the functioning of the Election Commission during their rule.
Commenting on the Lok Sabha elections, Reddy said his party would win five MP seats and party leaders like Revanth Reddy, Renuka Choudary, K. Visweswar Reddy, Komatireddy Venkat Reddy and Uttam Kumar Reddy would win from the MP seats. (Maxim News)
