NEET Aspirant Found Dead In Hyderabad Apartment, Police Investigating
Jagtial/Hyderabad, Aug 8 (Maxim News): A tragedy has struck Jagtial district. A son hanged himself to death after being upset over the death of his father due to illness. The death of both father and son on the same day casts a shadow of sadness over the village.
According to the details, a man named Chanda Venkanna from Somanpalli village of Jagtial rural mandal had been suffering from illness for the past few days and was receiving treatment at home. Venkanna died at his home on the morning of August 8 due to his deteriorating health. While arranging for his father’s funeral, his son Chanda Tirupati (31), who was deeply depressed, committed suicide by hanging himself.
The funeral was conducted by Tirupati’s grandson (the eldest son’s son), who had first lit the pyre of his grandfather Venkanna. Since Tirupati had no son, the pyre was lit by the hands of the child.
The death of a father and son on the same day has cast a pall of gloom over Somandepalli village. Venkanna’s elder son Ravi had also committed suicide in Dubai in the past. tirupati has debts of up to Rs. 5 lakh. On the other hand, his wife has complained to the police that he committed sicide due to depression after his father’s death. The police have registered a case and are investigating. (Maxim News)
