KCR Calls Congress Leaders As Fools

Hyderabad, Nov.28 (Maxim News): TRS supremo and caretaker Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao today lambasted that TPCC Chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy was a useless fellow and a fool.

Addressing a public meeting at Medak town today, KCR lashed out at the Congress leadership for its ignorance at the debate on waters and projects in the Assembly session. He appealed to the people to give big support to the TRS candidate Manik Rao with a thumping majority and help push welfare programs in the segment. Leaders of previous combined Andhra Pradesh have deceived people of Telangana region and offered nothing to the region. KCR also accused chief ministers of the past regimes of depriving Telangana of its rightful share of irrigation waters, denied power and funds to the region. “The TPCC chief failed to react in the Assembly and walked out of the House saying that the Congress was not prepared on the irrigation topic to discuss”, he pointed out.

Refuting allegations of corruption and irregularities by the Opposition as baseless, KCR said redesigning of projects was warranted to get more waters for irrigation. Uttam, Geetha Reddy and other leaders, who were talking tall talk have no common sense and were resorting to make baseless charges against the TRS government to sabotage the welfare and development programs in the State, he fumed. “The Congress leaders got glued to their seats and failed to support the statehood movement. The past chief ministers have shown the projects on papers only and did not implement them”, he charged.

The TRS supremo recalled that in 1953, then Hyderabad State had Rs 63 crore budget and after it was forcibly merged into Andhra region and till 2014, the region was continuously deceived by the Andhra rulers. The Congress leaders, who have no knowledge of the projects, indulged in corruption and gross irregularities and swindled all funds, he added. Rubbishing the Congress leaders’ mischievous charges that the TRS regime was caught in the web of loans, KCR said they have increased the wealth and distributed it among the poor and deprived sections.

At Zaheerabad public meeting, KCR assured the people that he would bring waters to Singur by completing Kaleshwaram project. He also said he would give waters to one lakh acres each to Zaheerabad and Narayankhed constituencies by starting lift works on the lines of Bhakta Ramadas lift works in Bhadrachalam. After the elections, the lift works will be completed in 10 months, he asserted. (Maxim News)
