KCR Calls Upon Cadre to Work for Party’s Victory in Munugodu

Hyderabad, Oct.7 (NSS): Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao called upon the cadre to work together for the victory of the party candidate during the by-election to the Munugodu Assembly constituency.

As the TRS president announced the name of Kusukuntla Prabhakar Reddy as the party candidate for the Munugodu by-election, party leaders Karne Prabhakar and Bura Narsaiah Goud, who have aspired for the ticket, met Chief Minister K Chandrasekhar Rao at the Pragathi Bhavan here on Thursday.

During the meeting, KCR informed Karne Prabhakar and Bura Narsaiah Goud that the name of Prabhakar Reddy has been finalized after taking into consideration of survey reports and asked the leaders to work together for the success of Prabhakar Reddy.

Speaking to the media after meeting with KCR, former Bhongir MP Bura Narsaiah Goud said KCR has promised that his services will be utilized at the national level following the announcement of Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS).

Another leader and former MLC Karne Prabhakar said It was nothing wrong to aspire for the party ticket. However, KCR has explained the reasons for giving the party ticket to Prabhakar Reddy and asked us to work for the success of the party candidate in the ensuing by-election. KCR has assured that opportunities will come to all leaders in the future and justice will be done based on the circumstances, he said.

Both leaders Karne Prabhakar and Bura Narsaiah Goud denied allegations of differences among the party cadre in the Munugodu Assembly constituency and reiterated that they would strive hard for the victory of the party candidate in the by-election. (NSS)
