Kodanda Wonders At KCR, Jagan One-To-One Meeting

Hyderabad, Jan.13 (Maxim News): AICC Kisan Congress vice-president M. Kodanda Reddy said ruling TRS party was misusing its power in ongoing campaign for municipal elections. He alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao was diluting all the democratic agencies by missing his power. He also alleged that the Chief Minister was not allowing the Election Commission to work in a free and fair manner.

Speaking to mediapersons here, Kodanda Reddy said the development that took place in different municipalities in the State was done by the previous Congress government. He also alleged that the TRS government has utterly failed in providing the basic amenities in the municipalities in the State. The Kisan Congress leader said the State government was diverting funds meant for development of the municipalities in the State.

Alleging that the Chief Minister was threatening his cabinet ministers and party legislators to ensure victory of his party candidates, Kodanda Reddy made it clear that none of the Congress CMs ever indulged in such misuse of power during the local body elections. He urged the people to think on how to put a check on the State government. He also urged them to vote for the Congress Party in the municipal elections.

Commenting on the meeting of the Chief Ministers of two Telugu States, the Kisan Congress leader wondered as to what prompted then to hold such a secret meeting without the presence of the officials of the two State governments. He also alleged that the upcoming municipal elections were the main reason behind holding the secret meeting by the two CMs. He said the meeting was meant to attract the fans of former Chief Minister and veteran Congress leader late D Y S Rajasekhar Reddy and secure their votes in the elections.(Maxim News)
