Hyderabad, April 30: Komatireddy Rajagopal Reddy criticised K. Kavitha over her recent remarks on K. Chandrashekar Rao, triggering a political exchange in Telangana.
He said it was inappropriate to criticise a leader who played a key role in the Telangana movement.
Komatireddy Targets Kavitha Remarks
Addressing a gathering in Choutuppal, the Munugodu MLA said a daughter should respect her father.
He questioned how Kavitha could claim leadership if she criticises her own father.
He stated that KCR was the first Chief Minister of Telangana and a key figure in the statehood movement.
Komatireddy also said Kavitha gained political identity due to KCR.
Further, he referred to pending legal issues and said she should clarify them before making public statements.
He added that forming a political party requires strong public support and cannot be taken lightly.
The remarks come amid political developments following Kavitha’s announcement of a new party.
