Hyderabad, Aug.27 (Maxim News): YSRCP leader Kotla Hari Chakrapani Reddy, who was in-charge of the party for Pattikonda Assembly constituency, today joined the BJP.
Hari Chakrapani Reddy, along with his supporters joined the BJP in the presence of former Union minister and BJP national general secretary Purandeshwari at Telangana BJP State office here. AP BJP vice-president Kapileshwaraiah and general secretary S Suresh Reddy were also present.
Since AP BJP chief Kanna Lakshminarayana was in America, Purandeshwari welcomed Chakrapani Reddy and others by putting saffron shawls. There were reports that former MLA Hari Chakrapani Reddy was preparing to contest elections from Aluru. He was defeated in 2014 elections at the hands of K E Krishamurthy of TDP. (Maxim News)
