KTR Offers Tributes to Pulwama Martyrs—Donates Rs.25 lakh

Hyderabad, Feb.17 (Maxim News): Telangana Rashtra Samithi (TRS) working president KT Rama Rao offered homage to the CRPF personnel killed in the Pulwama attack and donated Rs 25 lakhs from his personal income.

KTR said that the death of CRPF jawans in the attack had moved him much and he is there to offer homage on behalf of Telangana Chief Minister K Chandrashekar Rao to all the personnel, who passed away in the ghastly attack which took place on February 14. He expressed his deep sympathy for the kin of the dead jawans and donated Rs 25 lakh from his personal income, and another Rs 25 lakh voluntarily donated by his friends. He handed over the cheque to the CRPF IG Raju at the CRPF southern headquarters in Banjara Hills.

KTR added that he has come to the place as a common man of the country but not as a TRS working president or as an MLA. He pointed out that it is because of army jawans that the people of the country are safe. KTR offered his condolences to the deceased soldiers and wished for the speedy recovery of the jawans who were injured in the attack. KTR also talked to some of the CRPF personnel. In a twitter, KTR said it was his privilege and honour to visit the HQ CRPF southern sector and offer tributes to Pulwama martyrs. (Maxim News)
