Laxman Resents CM’s Remark Against Centre

Hyderabad, Sept.22 (Maxim News): BJP State president K. Laxman on Sunday claimed there was economic recession in the country, but the Centre announced a slew of economic rejuvenation packages to get rid of the slowdown by foreseeing it in advance.

Criticizing the statement of Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao that the country was witnessing economic recession since the last one-and-a-half years, Laxman said it was not true. He alleged that KCR was blaming the Centre for hiding his own inefficiency.

Addressing mediapersons at the State party office, Laxman asked whether the Chief Minister had not made a statement that the annual budget of the State would soon hit the Rs 5 lakh crore mark. He also wondered as to how the budgetary allocations had come down now in the State. He said the percentages of loans were going up in the GSDP of the State. (Maxim News)
