Hyderabad, Sept 2 (Maxim News): Hyderabad city is gearing up for the Ganesh immersion procession. Arrangements are being made for the immersion of Ganesha idols across the city on September 6. As thousands of Ganesha idols are going for the procession in a single day, the city police have made strict security arrangements.
Traffic restrictions have already been imposed in many areas. On the other hand, mosques located on the routes where the procession will be held have been covered with covers to prevent any untoward incidents in the city.
Mosques in Afzal Gunj, Charminar and other parts of the city were covered with heavy cloth and covers. This was done by the authorities to maintain peace in the city during the Ganesh procession.
Meanwhile, Hyderabad Police is taking all necessary steps to maintain a peaceful atmosphere in the city ahead of Ganesh Visarjan and Milad un nabi. For peace and security, the police have deployed Rapid Action Force in the city.
Police are on extra alert at religious places in the city. Heavy security forces have been deployed at prominent mosques and temples. For the preparations for the procession, the Hyderabad Police Commissioner held a review meeting at the office of the South-West Zone DCP in mehdipatnam. He met with the law and order, traffic and other police officials of the South-West Zone to review the arrangements for the Ganesh procession in Hyderabad.
the Commissioner instructed the officers to keep a watchful eye to prevent crimes like anti-social elements, pickpocketing, eve teasing, and chain snatching. The DCP inspected the security arrangements at Gosha Mahal, Tappa Chabutra, langar House, and important Ganesh mandapams in Southwest mandal and Golkonda. (Maxim News)
