Hyderabad, Sept 2 (Maxim News): Goshamahal MLA Raja Singh has urged the Andhra Pradesh government to take steps to protect the Srisailam temple. Raja Singh questioned why Muslims are roaming around the holy site of Srisailam wearing turbans. He questioned why the AP government was not taking action against them.
He said that this negligence will cause losses to the government in the future. Raja Singh suggested that the AP government should take steps to prevent the desecration of the Srisailam temple area.
However, Raja Singh has congratulated the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanam (TTD). he stressed that if anyone belonging to a different religion comes to the Tirupati Devasthanam wearing a cap and preaches, TTD officials will take action against them. This is a good rule. Raja Singh issued a statement to this effect. (Maxim News)
