Ministers Flagged Off 45 New Electric Buses In Suryapet
Suryapet/Hyderabad, June 9 (Maxim News): 45 new electric buses have hit the roads in Suryapet district. Deputy Chief Minister Bhatti Vikramarka and Transport Minister Ponnam Prabhakar flagged off 45 electric buses at the Suryapet RTC depot. Legislative Council Chairman Gutta Sukhender Reddy, MLAs Padmavati, MLC Shankar Nayak, District Collector Tejas Nanda lal Power, SP Narasimha and Tourism Corporation Chairman Patel Ramesh Reddy participated in the program. After the buses were launched, ministers and MLAs traveled in the bus.
The Telangana government has focused on EV buses with the aim of reducing pollution and diesel consumption. Revanth Reddy also recently said that diesel vehicles should be reduced. As part of this, the government is purchasing electric buses on its own.

After the introduction of the Mahalaxmi Free Journey scheme, the congestion in buses has increased tremendously. there are not enough buses, RTC buses are already breaking down.
It is costing a lot to repair them. That is why the government is purchasing new buses and making them available to passengers. (Maxim News)
