No Alliance Or Understanding With Congress: Clarifies Asaduddin Owaisi

Hyderabad, April 13: (Maxim News): AIMIM President Asadduddin Owaisi engaged in door-to-door campaigning in the Falaknuma area, refuted the comments of the Congress leader Feroz Khan that there is an understanding between Congress and AIMIM and added that AIMIM is alone in the Telangana politics and AIMIM is not any party ‘B’ team.

He clarified that AIMIM has not formed any alliance with Congress in Telangana, He said that in Uttar Pradesh where they are part of the PDM coalition. He reiterated the party’s commitment to hard work and clear principles.

On BJP candidate from Hyderabad constituency Madhavi Latha who is making bogus votes allegation, AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi says, “…Every year in January, the inclusion of names happens, then lists come out from the end of Election Commission of India, which is not headed by me…A final voter list gets out; before the elections, an addition and deletion list is to come out. Now, tell me what’s my role in it? This means that they are abusing the Election Commission…”

Addressing recent developments, Asaduddin Owaisi commented on the travel advisory issued by the Ministry of External Affairs for Iran and Israel. Regarding Israel, he highlighted the India-Israel agreement and expressed concern over the welfare of Indian workers in Israel.

Owaisi called upon the Modi government to ensure the safe return of the 6000 Indian citizens currently working there, following the issuance of the advisory.

Regarding the contentious Citizenship (Amendment) Act (CAA), Owaisi criticized the BJP for enacting what he deemed an unconstitutional law.

He condemned the CAA for its religious bias, which contradicts the principle of equality.

As a symbolic gesture of protest, Owaisi remembered his act of tearing a copy of the Citizenship (Amendment) bill in Parliament. (Maxim News)
