No Music in Pubs after 10pm: Telangana High Court

Hyderabad, Dec 30 (Maxim News): The High Court of Telangana has shocked the BRS government, headed by Chief Minister K. Chandrasekhar Rao. On keeping the liquor, bar, and wine shops upto 1 O’clock in the night on the new year day intervening night of December 31 to January 1, the High Court ruled that under no circumstances will sound be allowed after 10 pm at the 10 pubs situated in Jubilee Hills and Banjara Hills.

It may be recalled that earlier also the high court had given similar orders to the pubs, and the Managers of the pubs again approached the Court during the New Year celebrations. The petition was heard in the High Court today, on this occasion, the Telangana High court upheld the verdict given earlier in the case of pubs. The court said that the rules must be followed during the New Year, and it said that no music should be played after 10m pm. The High Court ordered the New Year celebrations to be held per the previous orders. (Maxim News)
