Delhi/Hyderabad, April 25 (Maxim News): Opposition parties submitted a notice in the Rajya Sabha seeking the removal of Chief Election Commissioner Gyanesh Kumar. The notice was signed by 73 MPs, including 27 Congress MPs.
A leader said the opposition has decided to impeach the CEC as he continues his partisan approach. Congress leader Jairam Ramesh said the notice was served with nine specific allegations against the CEC, which were recorded in great detail and could not be denied or covered up.
