Owaisi Urges Karimnagar Voters to Reject TRS, Hits BJP

Hyderabad, Feb. 8: AIMIM chief Asaduddin Owaisi urged voters in Karimnagar not to support the TRS, saying such votes would directly benefit the BJP.

Asaduddin owisi appealed to voters to strengthen AIMIM leadership through the democratic process. He said strong leadership alone can stop injustice and ensure people’s voices reach power.

Addressing a public meeting during municipal elections campaign, Asaduddin Owaisi said voters must protect their vote from being wasted.

Owaisi said elected representatives should fight for people on civic issues. According to him, leadership plays a key role in solving road, drainage, and development problems. Owaisi added that democratic strength determines how effectively issues get resolved.

During the Asaduddin Owaisi Karimnagar speech, he raised concerns over discrimination in higher education. He referred to UGC regulations meant to curb harassment of backward classes, Dalits, tribals, and minorities.

However, he said opposition led to the issue reaching the Supreme Court. As a result, the court stayed the regulation. He questioned why the stay was imposed if concern for these communities was genuine.

Owaisi then shifted focus to national security in the Asaduddin Owaisi Karimnagar speech. He cited a book by a former army chief and a report published by Caravan Magazine.

According to him, Chinese troops entered Ladakh and set up tents in Indian patrolling areas. He recalled the Galwan clash, where 20 Indian soldiers lost their lives. He asked who held responsibility for the situation and questioned the government’s response.

Next, Owaisi criticised economic policy, he questioned claims around self reliant India and Make in India. He referred to the production linked incentive scheme funded by public money.

However, he said tariff reductions agreed with the United States could hurt domestic industries. He also asked how such policies would impact farmers and local markets.

Finally, Owaisi addressed oil imports and foreign pressure, he referred to statements by US President Donald Trump on Russian oil imports. He questioned whether India’s petroleum policy remained independent. Owaisi added that China continued to benefit by purchasing cheap oil.
