Passport Seva Kendras To Function On December 3
Hyderabad, Nov 29 (Maxim News): Regional Passport Officer and Head of MEA Branch, Secretariat, Dasari Balaiah has informed that all 5 Passport Seva Kendras (PSK) and 14 Post office Passport Seva Kendras (POPSKs) , in its jurisdiction will function on December 3, saturday for processing of passport applications.
To bring down the long appointment cycle for submission of applications under Tatkal/Normal category, it has been decided to keep open PSKs in Hyderabad at Ameerpet, Begumpet and Tolichowki) and one each in Karimnagar and Nizamabad and all 14 POPSKs.
For the appointments of 700 Tatkaal and 300 Normal applications, the candidates are requested to refer to the Passport Seva Portal for the list of documents eligible for submission for processing application under Tatkal category. Appointments in all 14 POPSKs would be released for processing Normal category applications. The appointments to be released in a day or two for those who wish to reschedule/prepone and also to the new applicants. (Maxim News)
