Police Arrested Three People For Selling Fake Skincare Products On Brand Names
Hyderabad, April 22 (Maxim News): The Hyderabad cybercrime police nabbed three persons from Delhi on charges of cheating customers by selling fake soaps of branded companies.
The arrested gang members are Nikhil, Mohit Sharma and Sonu Kumar, all residents of Delhi. According to the Cybercrime officials, the suspects who run e-commerce businesses decided to earn money easily by manufacturing, labeling and selling fake products with registered company’s original products through various e-commerce websites.
Recently, a doctor from the city lodged a complaint alleging that unidentified persons had manufactured fake skincare products of his company including soaps, with similar colour, quantity and design and put them up for sale on e-commerce sites. There are a total of 19 fake listings on the websites.
