Ponnala Demands Explanation From TRS
Hyderabad, April 27 (Maxim News): Former TPCC president Ponnala Laxmaiah on Saturday demanded the State government to tell the people of the State weather the recent trial wet run done by the State government was a part of their government’s Pranahita Chevella project or Kaleswaram project.
Noting that the State government was leaving no stone unturned to take credit to the trial run, Laxmaiah said that the 6th, 7th and 8th packages of the Kaleswaram project had begun way back in the year 2011. He said the Congress-led State government spent Rs 22,000 crore for the project.
Speaking to media persons, he said that the ruling TRS party leaders were taking credit for the project for which the congress Party led state government laid foundation stone. He alleged that the
TRS party leaders had only completed the world from Yellampally and mid manair project but now claiming that they had completed the kaleswaram project. He made it clear that the Kaleswaram project was part of Ambedkar Pranahita Chevella project. Laxmaiah alleged that the TRS leaders had increased the project cost from Rs.38,000 crore to Rs.80,000 crore.
He said that KCR, who had promised to complete the project in two years had taken six years to complete only three packages. He alleged that the State government ignored Srikara Yellampally irritation project. (Maxim News)
