Rachakonda Police Busted Interstate Drug Peddling Rackets

Hyderabad, Sept 22 (Maxim News): Rachakonda Police in coordination with the sleuths of the SOT, LB Nagar Zone team along with the Meerpet police apprehended the accused persons Vulala Ranjith Kumar, Bollam Sai Nithin, Bachu Narendra, and Boinpally Sai Krishna for transporting and selling the Hash Oil to the needy persons, and seized Hash Oil 23 kgs, mobile phones 5, empty plastic bottles 6, packets containing 36 bottles in each packet and disposable syringe. all worth Rs. 21 lakhs.

The accused Vulala Ranjith Kumar became acquainted with Bollam Sai Nithin, Bachhu Narendra, and Vineeth, who reside in Meerpet. He is struggling to meet his extravagant lifestyle. He decided to earn quick money by selling Hash Oil. In February 2024, he traveled to Visakhapatnam, where he met a drug supplier named Sai and purchased Hash Oil from him. After returning to Hyderabad he was apprehended by the Saroor Nagar Excise Police and produced in the court where he was sent to judicial custody for 9 days. After his release from prison, he along with his friends Bollam Sai Nithin and Bachhu Narendra devised a plan to procure Hash Oil at a cheap rate and sell it in Hyderabad for huge prices to make easy money, they traveled to Annavaram of AP brought Hash Oil and sold out @ Rs, 2,000 per 5 ml/gram.

In another case, the sleuths of the SOT, Maheshwaram Zone team along with the Adibatla police, have successfully apprehended one Santosh Kumar @ Santosh Prasad interstate drug peddler who was involved in the transportation and sale of Ganja Chocolates. Seized Ganja Chocolates 3.8 kgS and Mobile Phone.

The accused Santosh Kumar @ Santosh Prasad is a migrant laborer, native of Samastipur district of Bihar state in the year 2022, he secured a job as a laborer in HFCL company, who is taking up cable wire installation work in Hyderabad.

He noticed that most of the laborers were addicted to Ganja and its products. He noticed some of the petty vendors were clandestinely procuring and selling Ganja chocolates at huge prices. This inspired him to devise a plan to make quick money by selling those chocolates.

The said arrests were made under the direct supervision of G.Sudheer Babu, Commissioner of Police, Rachakonda, and under the guidance of K.Muralidhar DCP, SOT, LB Nagar Maheshwaram, teams of SOT, Meerpet and Adibatla police personnel. (Maxim News)
