Rahul’s Tour To State Grand Success Despite CM’s Tricks: Revanth

Hyderabad, Aug.22 (Maxim News): Newly joined Congress leader and Kodangal MLA A Revanth Reddy has alleged that Chief Minister K Chandrashekhar Rao conducted TRS party executive committee meeting on the day of Congress president Rahul Gandhi’s tour in the State with an intention to reduce the media coverage of Rahul’s tour, but Rahul’s tour was a big success.

Speaking at the Assembly media hall here today, Revanth Reddy said KCR had announced on August 13 that he would conduct ‘Pragathi Nivedhana’ public meeting on September 2. He pointed out that the Chief Minister had declared that he would not seek votes from people if he failed to supply Mission Bhagiratha water by August 15, but failed.

Revanth Reddy alleged that KCR was enacting a drama of early elections to hoodwink people from their problems. Stating that the Election Commission has addressed a letter to the State Election Commission to complete the voter list process by the end of January, he asked how the Election Commission could hold early elections without voter list”. He said the Chief Minister was trying to go along with MIM in the Assembly elections and was trying to keep the MIM aside for Lok Sabha elections to join hands with the BJP.

Responding to a question, Revanth Reddy said PCC chief N Uttam Kumar Reddy was making the party cadre to get ready to face early elections. To another question, Revanth Reddy reminded AP Chief Minister N Chandrababu Naidu’s statement that those who join hands with the BJP and those who enter into a secret pact were enemies of the TDP.
