The makers of Ranabaali have announced that a crucial shooting schedule in Rayalaseema has been completed. The update confirms that the film is set for a worldwide release on September 11. The production team shared the news along with a video showing the actors receiving a warm welcome in the region.
Mythri Movie Makers, the production house behind the project, revealed the development on social media. The post read, “‘MAA SEEMA RAAYALASEEMA’ Rayalaseema showered all its love for the #Ranabaali couple. The team wrapped up a key schedule in the region. #Ranabaali Grand release worldwide on September 11th.” This announcement has drawn attention from fans eagerly waiting for updates on the film.
Meanwhile, the video clip featured actor Vijay Deverakonda addressing a gathering. He said, “It feels like coming back to my own village. When I was here for the shoot, Anantapur feels like my second hometown. I always have a seema feeling inside me.” His remarks highlighted the strong connection he felt with the region during filming.
The film stars Vijay Deverakonda in the role of Ranabaali, while Rashmika Mandanna plays his wife Jayamma. Actor Arnold Vosloo appears as the antagonist Sir Theodore Hector. The film is being produced by Naveen Yerneni and Y. Ravi Shankar, while T-Series is presenting it on a large scale.
Ranabaali is set against a British-era backdrop and is described as a period action drama. It is based on real historical events that took place between 1854 and 1878. The makers are developing it as a pan-India project with a strong historical theme. This film also marks the third collaboration between Vijay Deverakonda and Rashmika Mandanna after Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade. Therefore, expectations are high among audiences for this pairing once again.
