Hyderabad, July 17 (Maxim News): Senior BRS MLA and former Minister G. Jagadish Reddy accused Chief Minister A. Revanth Reddy of surrendering Telangana’s water rights to Andhra Pradesh and “turning the worst nightmares of Telangana agitators into reality.”
He alleged that Revanth Reddy was following a script sent by AP CM Chandrababu Naidu and demanded that he resign for betraying Telangana once again.
Addressing media at Telangana Bhavan, Jagadish Reddy said the Congress government was compromising on Telangana’s rights over Krishna and Godavari waters and yielding to anti-Telangana forces.
He questioned why Revanth Reddy didn’t demand an Apex Council meeting, asking, “Is he afraid of going to jail again?”
Jagadish Reddy also suspected diversionary tactics targeting K.T. Rama Rao to deflect attention from the issue and condemned the CM’s silence over releasing Godavari waters to Rayalaseema while ignoring Kaleshwaram project activation. (Maxim News)
